Doublelist is it safe

in my experiece, it's pretty safe because 95%+ of the people on their either never respond or never follow through to meeting in-person. danger can't exist if it never gets a chance to show up.

my wife and i have tried so many times and have never met anyone on their despite some pretty decent email communications back and forth. always an excuse as to why they can't make it or whatever.

That’s a shame

I've posted on doublelist a bit and damn if it isn't impossible. I don't really try hooking up with men on there because it's the same guys who respond to ads over and over again, and I assume they're either serially and riskily hooking up with everyone, or they're flaky and hook up with no one, or they're not what they claim to be. And a lot of guys on there have a very generous definition of "muscular".

I've had better luck with women actually, the scammers are easy to spot from a mile away and the ones who are legit are more matter of fact and not as flighty as the guys.

It seems to be the best free site out there right? At least as far as doing what Craigslist once did. What else is there? I'm just surprised, even accounting for the lack of random people dropping in out of curiosity, that it hasn't caught on a bit more. It's really easy and it's still free despite the occasional interruption to try and get you to pay for premium.
