I've been stimming for many years and find it great both as an edging toy and for the occasional hands free orgasm. I run my toys off a simple, medical TENS device. It has two channels and a variety of different pulse patterns. I've acquired most of my e-stim toys from Ebay. They range from simple silicon loops, to butt plugs and e-sounding rods, there are lots to choose from and it's just a case of plug n play (literally).
