I've realized lately that I really enjoy watching others in private situations.
From some research done on the web, I understood that it is Voyeurism: A disorder composed of fantasies and impulses that lead a person to become sexually aroused when he observes an unsuspecting person undressing, naked or in the middle of sexual activity .
Voyeurs are usually harmless, that is, they just watch. They very rarely become physically violent even though the invasion of privacy is a form of psychological violence.
With the question "Everyone is a Voyeur?" I mean maybe, in some way, we all are. We watch porn to release sexual tension, we watch gossip TV shows because we have a certain morbid curiosity about celebrities or we spy on our partners' cell phones or computers because we fear they are deceiving us.
In your opinion, is mine a legitimate reflection or is it just a way to justify this inclination?
