Recently I was on a popular gay chat website when I spotted a username that appeared familiar. I clicked on the user's profile for the site and saw that in fact he was, or was claiming to be, someone fairly famous in the porn-o-sphere. Curious, I decided to message him and we ended up chatting a bit. Ultimately, I asked him if he was legitimately who he said he was and he of course said yes, so again, very curious (and horny) I decided to shoot my shot and offered to give him my number for "further interactions" (we had previously discussed generally where we were each located and found that we were close by each other).
Long story short, we began exchanging text messages over the phone and this person did in fact happen to be the semi-famous porn figure he said he was. I was really surprised! I guess for some reason I'd never expect to see someone in the public eye, so-to-speak, in a gay sex chat room, even it the "public eye" was porn (although I did have a somewhat similar experience years ago with a local San Diego weatherman - that's another story!).
I realize I'm being vague here about the person - I don't want to cause him any undue attention - the whole experience just came as quite a shock, though ultimately a very pleasant and pleasurable one as we are now becoming somewhat friends with talk of "doing" more together.
All that said, I'm very curious - has anyone else had encountered a famous or well-known person in a gay chat room or gay sex specific situation? Maybe it happens quite often!
