Film crews behind the scenes in mainstream nude/sex scenes - Any noteworthy crazy/spicy/weird situations witnessed?

I am interested to find out if anyone has been a cameraman or a member of a film crew for a film (not porn) where there was a sex scene or nude scene and witnessed something crazy/spicy/weird... like an actor getting a boner in a nude scene, or actors going the extra mile and having unsimulated sex that is passed as simulated later on, or an actor climaxing accidentally while grinding in a simulated sex scene.... or any other situation of this kind. Whether it was in rehearsal or during the actual shooting.

I know most film productions are usually professional for these kinds of scenes - closed sets, choreographed movements, fake/simulated sex and all - but not all of them. For instance, there have been reports that Robert Pattinson masturbated for real in the movie 'Little Ashes' ('I Pleasured Myself In Front Of The Camera').

Just wondering what kinds of situations have happened of a similar nature.

most crew members don't want to talk much. if the info, is shown to come from them, it is bad for future jobs. everyone in film/etc. gossips, few want it printed.

Usually for a sex scene it is what they call a "closed set" so it is the minimum amount of crew possible - camera person, sometimes audio, and even the director might just be watching a monitor. It would be hard to find anyone with these stories on a mainstream movie.

For sure it is hard... that's why I asked. However, such incidents have happened as evidenced by Pattinson's story.

Let's hope someone with some insight can share a rare story. The question is for the few who might know.

I did, however, reach out to a couple of people (non-mainstream) that took part on films that had real sex... most of them were super nice to explain how the process was, wheather the real sex was scripted or not... Three people that I've reached told me that the real sex was either implied or scripted in the screenplay and that they were all pre-discussed before filming. I can share more details if one is interested, though they were all non-mainstream productions

would love to know which productions -scenes -gay or straight. Fascinating. Do they want the audience to know it's real?

I think it would be hard to talk about this because some of the crews of this films specially from big productions had to sign nondisclosure agreement to avoid talking about the behind the scenes drama.
But if one person wants to have a tell all, then we are here for it.

Ok, I've got something. It is not exactly what you're asking for but here you go. I was involved in an indie film. One of the lead actors was supposed to have a brief nude scene where his butt was going to be displayed. The actor had agreed to this but on the day, he was a nervous mess. He had been dieting and was more focused on the nude scene then the acting requirements of the scene itself. He got himself so worked up that he had an anxiety attack. The actor was holding up the progress of the day, so the director made a quick decision to have a crew member act as a butt double. After that, the actor was able to calm down and finish the scene (without the nudity). It is a scene that has been posted on this website...the nude scene attributed to the actor, so I always have to laugh when I see it, remembering the incident. I wish I could say who it is but I am still in a working relationship with some of the parties and they'd be upset if they knew I revealed this. There was lots of backstage drama on this film.

I really hate when people on a thread ask for information, and someone shares then immediately gets called out. I work in the film industry and have all kinds of info from my experiences and honestly, people who just say that it's not true make me hesitate in posting at all.

I actually do a fair amount of film/tv/commercial work and the professional courtesy and honoring the NDA ethic really does exist fortunately, but if you are looking for something that is a bit racy or scandalous look no further than 2011 AMA Awards where Pitbull’s raging hardon was bouncing back against Jennifer Lopez magnificent ass for the entire performance and that was on network TV.
