Hey, everyone! I’m new here and just had a question for you guys about fitness. I‘ve always been skinny and not very muscular. its always made me feel insecure when everywhere I turn all I see is muscular guys with abs. Here’s where I am now. Do you think my body is okay where it’s at or should I try something different to gain some muscle? Thanks. View attachment 72316581

Are you working out now? Unlike a LOT of us... You are starting with a blank canvas. No extra pounds to dump or "convert". Most "skinny" guys I know that start a fitness program achieve the defined abs pretty fast.

Btw, there are a lot of guys that desire someone with your physique as a partner. Twink comes to mind here. ;)

Thanks for the reply. I’m somewhat working out now. I do a few at home exercises that consists of stretches, push ups, and sit-ups. Trying to decide if I should keep doing what I’m doing or start adding more to it. Im not looking to become a body builder or anything. Just looking to feel better about my body. Haha.

The question is really:"What do YOU want your body to look like?"

No one else's opinion matters.

You say you feel insecure about your body image, but you could work through that with therapy/personal growth.

If you do want to change your body, you will need a combination of exercise and nutrition to put on muscle.
