hello, I read somewhere that waist to hip ratio can help determine health status, the lower the ratio, the better. so, it made me think about that this ratio in terms of nationality/race/ethnicity. In my observations (just my observation, not a study or survey), i have found white men have this ratio the least as compared to other men, as i think they have small waist and big glutes naturally/by birth but i may be completely wrong or misinformed here so i thought of posting this question here to ask fellow men about their waist and hips/glutes measurements, nationality/ethnicity/race, and thoughts on this ratio& physique overall as from other threads/ posts, i have seen people on this forum have great knowledge.. thanks..

If you're here at LPSG, then you have the Internet and, presumably, the ability to search such things for yourself. So why ask others? I think I know but I'll leave that aside. Assuming your question is an honest one and you're just being lazy looking up the answer, then here is but one of many sources: The World Health Organization defines abdominal obesity in men as a waist-to-hip ratio of at least 0.90. For women, it’s a ratio of 0.85 or more. A ratio higher than 1.0 for either sex means a much higher chance of health problems. You might be conflating waist-to-hip ratio and health with other studies concluding that a waist-to-hip ratio of 0.7 or less in women was the one common physical characteristic attractive to men of all races, ethnic groups, nationalities and cultures.

Much has been written about waist to height ratio - not sure I've ever seen waist to hip ratio mentioned.

Waist should be no more than 50% of height, in whatever your chosen measurement increment and system. Currently I am at 52% which means I still have some work to do.

small waist and fat ass is hot. Especially if the guy has a muscled v-taper leading to a thin waist
fully agreed, and from what i have seen, white guys have fat ass from the very beginning with small waist naturally, so are they blessed with these traits..maybe
