So it seems like Alturi.org basically shut down immediately before the election.

It was my primary source for queer global news, since sites like pinknews are spammed full of bullshit celebrity gossip and entertainment/media news (both "two men make eye contact in the latest marvel movie OMG SPARKS FLYING?!?!" and "BRAVE! This white man isn't afraid to speak up for landlords in congress just because he is a homosexual") and I have just entirely negative interest in seeing this.

I want to know what is actually happening with our rights as a global queer community, especially in times like this, not assinine "representation" news. Alturi was NOT perfect but it did a solid job of balancing individual human interest stories (queer refugees, people fighting discrimination in resource access or politics) and national, regional, and global trends.

Does anyone know what happened to Alturi? What are other good queer news aggregators with a global scope that sidestep both US Palace Intrigue or celebrity and entertainment news?

Where do you find out what is going down?

Just a quick, non-comprehensive list of Rainbow Capitalism Rags I am NOT looking for:
thepinknews.com
advocate.com
out.com
pride.com
queerpress.org
lgbtqnation.com

queernn.com basically stopped running after the election and even then was extremely US Liberal provincial.
washingtonblade.com is also very America focused in a way that isn't terribly useful for a global queer perspective, but otherwise alright enough to be included in a more comprehensive newsfeed.
