To answer for myself, I never got caught even jerking off because I'm very cautious about it, although I kinda often have to get into the normal because someone is about to walk in on me. But... when pressing the on/off button on my old phone while watching a video in the gallery, the screen won't shut off but it would just pause the video. I was watching a video of me jerking off in the shower and I wasn't aware of my phone's weird feature. Before my dad walked in I pressed the off button and put the phone aside as if nothing was going on.
