Girth increase with age

Apparently as we age and collagen decreases it can cause the girth to increase, not sure where I read that, also could be linked to not quite as hard an erection compared to a younger guy full of collagen!

I measure length long, log ago but may not have measure girth until I was in my late 20s or early 30s. I was a 6 inch girth the length of my shaft with a taper down to my head (5-5.5?) and another taper right at the base. My base girth is 6.5 inches. Those numbers haven't changed in a few decades, but I don't have any 18-27 age data to compare it to.

Yes, I noticed it too. My wife took a pic of my cock on a Polaroid back in the 1980s and I put it side by side with a recent pic. Lost half an inch of length and gained half an inch of girth. Swings and roundabouts...

Your penis is stunning, bro. What an awesome erection angle. Do you do Kegals? It’s really quite sexy.

It's true for me. I was a "growing boy" all through my college years. When I finally reached my "adult size" in my mid-twenties, my length could reach 9" on a hard day, but my girth was only about 5-1/2". While hardly a pencil, I considered that a little slim compared to my unusual length. Today, over half a century later, my hard length is still well over 8", but 8-1/2" is about the max. On the other hand, the girth has increased to 6" up to 6-1/4" on a good hard day. I think today's proportions are an improvement.

I didn't do a great job of tracking it with measurements, but I did see a girth increase from mid-20s to mid-40s of about 1/8". My upper shaft used to measure 5.625", and now it's 5.75". The base increased from 6.25" to 6.375". Part of it may be due to my getting in shape in my late 30s, so better circulation overall.

Interesting seeing that it's happened to almost everyone who has replied so far. In my late 30s now, and mine has also increased slightly (by perhaps 1/4" to 3/8", to now 5.625") in the last 15 years.
