no common mate. I'll leave the stats up to those that know better but i'm over 6 in girth (at the base anyway) and every girl i've ever been with or has seen it (even soft) has said its the thickest they've ever seen. Some even say 'om my god' etc...
 
Sine the average length and girth are both below 6 inches respectively, I'm going with not very common at all.

There are many studies that have been published online, but not all include girth. Of those that did, a 6 inch girth (like my own) was in the 98th percentile.

Put another way, 98% of the guys out there have a smaller girth than you.

I too, received many comments on my size, but especially my girth.
The ladies really, really, liked my thickness, and I really liked helping them enjoy my thickness!
 
6+ Girth is rare, in my own personal experience. In the last 18 years or so I've only encountered three who matched my thickness, and two who exceeded it. Thats out of quite a few guys BTW. The two who exceeded my girth were incredibly girthy, to the point of out of both of them, only ONE had penetrative sex with ANYONE and that was only once. I'd say the first one was at least 7" thick. The second was freakishly thick at about 7.5+ inches thick. I have pretty big hands and there was no way I could keep the entire thing in my hand.

Be proud of your 6" of girth. It is pretty f-ing rare IRL.

It's very rare - 98%-99% guys are smaller than that (assuming measuring at approximately the mid-point of the penis, rather than at the base). 70% of guys have less than 5 inches girth; and most guys fall in the range 4.25 and 5.0 inches.
 
I'm so close to 6". Lacking only a quarter of an inch here. If someone was to get me super excited I might make it. haha
 
I was a very late bloomer. I remember one day in junior high school (7th grade, 12-13 years old) when we had to shower with the 8th graders during gym class.
