Has Modern Porn Degraded Itself? Debate.

I have noticed over the last 4 years that modern straight porn (most of the main porn studios) has been shooting the following sort of scenes which did not exist a while back:

1. Incest videos - This seems to be a common theme even on tube websites i.e. an 18 or 19 year old daughter has sex with her dad and call him "daddy".
2. Impregnation videos - Porn websites like dick drainers or dogfart seem to be shooting these scenes where an 18 year old will have sex with a dominate stronger older man (usually black) and they will repeatedly talk about making a baby or getting pregnant or mentioning cumming in a teenage pussy. This type of fetish video can now be found on many different studios.
3. Raceplay - These are racist videos sometimes involving cuckolds where the black male actor will usually shout racist words against white people or the actress will deliberately use the N-word. Moe Johnson filed a lawsuit against dogfart because one of the actress used the n-word against him. Dogfart has since dropped this type of video but many other porn studios make these scenes and it seems people get off on this.
4. Piss videos - Legal porno are now doing these scenes every week. Basically 3 women will sit in a room and 6 or so men will piss on them. This never used to be mainstream but studios are now shooting this sort of content on a regular basis.

I grew up watching Brazzers and Naughty America and none of this more extreme material which I consider degrading was being shot by mainstream studios back then. I want to know what other users think about this. I do not like how the future of porn is heading. I know they still shoot good content out there but all this incest, raceplay and pissing stuff is all over the place on every tube website and is heavily demanded.

Are people getting bored with regular straight porn and they want more extreme fetish material or what is it? Is this just the tip of the iceberg because if the above becomes the "norm" then what else will they be making?

I understand there will always be extreme porn with the fetishists but these genres seem to be taking over mainstream porno. I click on xvideos, spankbang, sxyporn etc and almost every video is a raceplay, incest or impregnation scene or some other extreme content. On one level, I am thinking - oh dear lord lets' not open up some kind of 'woke' conversation about porn and to consider what is potentially offensive and what is 'degrading'. Because if you genuinely start down that route with real purpose, you eventually end up finding the answer as "all of it" and then 'cancelling' porn altogther. As far as I know, the ultra hard left 'culture war cancel culture narrative' hasn't targeted porn yet (?) (they are too busy arguing that gender is a social construct etc), but that's not to say they won't. I know that the counter argument is that 'things' like LPSG are a prime example of diversity and inclusivity, but, the new wave of young Marxists virtue signalers are looking for anything with potential for offence to minority groups in particular, and your post pulls on that.

On the other hand, I agree with where you are coming from. I am totally baffled by that amount of shit you describe above, which is blighting porn. I would argue that the obsession with race is much longer standing and you can go back decades to see that, and to some extent you will see that reflected in real life in swinging communities where wives/husbands' tastes are very much reflecting that race fetish. BUT, fancying your Dad, step dad, step daughter or even daughter...FUCK OFF, why is this kind of twisted shit increasing in popularity? I truly struggle to accept that the porn industry is in fact reflecting a deep and dark truth about how many people want to be covered in piss, while they are mocked for having a normal sized penis whilst feeling up a family member. So, why are they doing it...I cannot figure it out, maybe they are all fucked up on drugs and needing to shock themselves. But like I say, if they trigger a wider debate by doing so, it could put porn in the sights of the culture war and ultimately decimate their profits.

i totally agree with this, and yes i was hesitant to start this thread because a typical response would be why are you playing the moral route when you are watching porn to begin with. it is easy to see where i am coming from though. there is a difference between watching a sex scene on camera to watching people piss on each other, people insult each other with racial slurs or incest themes.

These themes were not popular 10 or 20 years ago in porn yet they are becoming the "norm" now on mainstream studios. This is what I am getting at in my post. I do find it disturbing. It seems more and more people are demanding extreme content and they are not happy with regular porn. There is even a porn company called "taboo" where they make many incest themed videos and there are websites like black ambush or black playback where they use racial slurs against the white porn actresses. These studios have twitter accounts with thousands of subscribers. I understand everyone's fantasy is different but the fantasies are getting more and more degrading and extreme.

it´s also because nowadays everyone has unlimited access to porn and also from younger ages. So the "normal" content gets boring quickly and most guys search for more and more extreme or degrading content to get aroused. Content like prolapse porn was unthinkable not long ago for example.

I can't identify with the 'gets boring' leading to extremes, not to say it doesn't happen for others.

As someone who has consumed a hell of a lot of porn alongside a very active (and lucky) sex life for many years, I can't say that there is any sense of needing to up my dosage and to seek more extremes (like prolapse porn....yuk). I think that it was a very old fashioned notion that you would have found in ultra 'conservative' folk back in the 80s. that if you got hooked on warching regular consensual sex in VHS videos, you would end up craving 'snuff movies'. For 99.9% of people that just does not happen. I also think (pray) that 99.9% of people don't want to fuck a family member - so back to the OP point, how/why is this shit being made?

I get the 'freedom of choice' point made above, but it's almost like the industry is trying to manufacture a few 'kinks' which don't have a natural demand. Here is a typical live example of what I am talking about, if you click on the front page of the website SexyPorn - Free Porn Site which is one of the main tube websites for hosting full length videos

These are the first top 6 videos.

The first one is an impregnation "mommy" scene.

There are two scenes there based on a "school girl" fantasy. I see this school girl fantasy on many mainstream porn websites. I don't understand this personally, who wants to watch a full grown women dress up in a child or teenage school girl uniform? It's fucking weird.

The other scene with Syren De Mer is some sort of mom young son breeding fantasy based on a "freudian slip". The only "normal" scene there is the one with Chris Strokes and Lana Rhoades.

Almost every clip now appearing on the front page of a tube website has to be an impregnation fantasy, "mommy" roleplay scene, cuckold fantasy, raceplay or impregnation scene with a mom and son. While I’m not familiar with the site/studio, with a name like Dogfart, I can’t help but imagine that this is not the porn studio a person would peruse the archives of if they wanted a mild vanilla porn flick. So part of me wonders if you might be making a bit of a self-fulfilling prophecy on that one lol. I also grew up with Brazzers, Bang Bus, Naughty America etc.

I’m not into pissplay, but part of me thinks that as people have come to embrace fetishes more, piss has become a bit more open and accepted mostly because it is quite harmless. Piss is sterile and health-wise one of the safer kinks I’d imagine. So I wouldn’t call opening the doors to a safe kink act as welcoming an era of pornographic “degradation” so to speak.

As for “incest” stuff, which is also not really my cup of tea, that stuff has always been around in porn. After all, it’s not real incest and I think porn studios have just come to trust and realize that its consumers are able to suspend their disbelief in recognizing that the actors aren’t actually in these seemingly incestuous situations. That said, maybe my experiences are just not the same, but any “incest” porn I’ve seen falls along the lines of step-parent/adult step-child relations. These two people are not genetically related, they’re only related by law wherein there is a bit of a social taboo about sexual relationships between such people because of perceived social power dynamics and the cheating that’d be involved, but it’s not actually illegal. So again, not sure I would use such a loaded word as “degrading” to describe it.

Maybe I’m just arguing semantics here, just the term “degrading” has a specific meaning to me, so I can’t use it when the discussed sex acts don’t seem to actually involve the intent of demeaning someone for real or for pretend. Like raceplay is definitely degrading, but piss or step-family fetishes I’m not so sure.
