I will start with a review of Pleasure Emporium's Labyrinth on Oahu.

Pleasure Emporium in Kalihi Palama recently converted their video booths into The Labyrinth, a sex venue consisting of a maze with themed areas. Grand opening of the Lab was in Feb 2023 Valentine's Day.
What is the Lab? Think of a gay bathhouse but without the baths. It's a dry sex-on-premises venue. $25 entry, $5 re-entry within 6 hours.
Location:
On the outside it just looks like a big, plain, windowless building. Pretty discreet and inconspicuous, aside from the giant "PLEASURE EMPORIUM" signage. It's located in a nice little Asian area with lots of popular Asian restaurants, bars, boba hangout spots and such. Lots of parking available around the area.
Reception:
I was greeted by the owner of the business on opening day (Valentines), a Japanese muscle daddy along with his coworker, a cute cub. Both of them were extremely warm and welcoming. I would have loved to play with these two in the Lab as they both were definitely my type but they were unfortunately working. The cub graciously gave me a walk-through tour of the venue. At the end of my visit, muscle daddy gave me a little gift of Valentines chocolates, so cute and unexpected. 10/10.
Venue:
After paying, you get a key to a locker as well as a packet of lube and a condom. You are then buzzed into the doors to the locker room. When you're ready, you head into the maze.
Here is where it got sketchy. It started off OK. The maze is what you'd expect from a sex venue: gaudy mood lighting, video booths, glory holes, porn theaters, sex-in-the-wall setup, loud music playing, and even louder porn audio blasting from all the mini theaters and screens throughout the maze. There is a mix of straight porn and gay porn playing, but the straight porn was way louder and more noticeable due to the annoying females "Oh? Oh? Oh yeah? Ohhh? Oh???" otter noises and shrieking. The noise of the place was very distracting and a turn-off for me personally.
The patrons are all fully clothed, and most of them are wearing face masks most likely to maintain anonymity. There were about 10 guys in total. Mind you, this was grand opening day. The crowd was all blue-collar DL locals from the Kalihi neighborhood, aged 50-60+ with a couple 40+. Most guys were walking around but not interacting with each other. A few were sitting and rubbing themselves over their pants. I didn't see a single cock. No sex to be seen. I did receive a lot of attention; basically everyone I had walked past had groped me. However, I did not reciprocate because I came only to observe. I also found this whole experience unsexy because:
Here is where it got weird: there are cameras in the venue. Cameras everywhere. Cameras on the walls, cameras all over the ceiling, cameras at every corner. It was frankly disturbing. I'm probably on a Twitter ad or Pornhub clip somewhere now promoting this place because they are recording and monitoring literally everything. I found this to be such an unsexy turn-off I probably shriveled up inside myself.
I don't understand how a sex venue can make a "no cellphones" rule and then set up their own cameras everywhere. How can anyone visit a sex venue knowing that they are being recorded? Why would you pay for such disrespectful treatment? If the answer is because they don't trust that the patrons will follow the rules and will do drugs and shit, that is not an excuse for cameras because that can be handled by staff doing their jobs and regularly patrolling, cleaning, and just being available to help out and enforce conduct.
Final thoughts:
This place has potential to be a fun cruisy hangout but the awfully bright lights, awful loud music, loud straight porn noise, and Big Brother CCTV Emporium makes this a place I will never visit again.
