Good luck. I think you had better just write it off. Scammers are everywhere online. Assume everyone has an ulterior motive until you know them well. One thing I have implemented to flush out the liars is I tell them that I will never send anyone anything until they have joined me on a live videocall, a normal SFW one in which the objective is live verification accomplished by being able to look each other in the eyes and (and this is critical because they otherwise will fool you by playing something prerecorded in some way that it seems to be live but eliminate the audio claiming their phone doesn’t work, mic is broke etc from which they will segue into an ask for money to fix or replace their phone ostensibly)have a material conversation on which among other things they must state the current date, their name and whereabouts, and critically, your name. Settle for nothing less. You will be shocked by the lengths they go to to try and end run your requirement. The only alternative almost as viable is to ask them to take a selfie in some improbable pose like left index finger in right nostril and right middle finger in the right ear or somesuch and ideally showing them in their entirety full body and having written your name on the part of their anatomy of your choice, prominently displayed and visible in the pic. Nothing and I mean nothing else proves jack shit and even this doesn’t prevent your ultimately being scammed if the individual is genuinely using their own pics, but from my experience they never do and probably for good reason, this is the fundamental form of catphishing because the perp is posing as someone else and cannot then appear on camera as the ostensible individual they claim to be. Since implementing this policy I have had great success in swatting down all the riffraff before they even begin to ask you for anything. I even go so far as to require it even to engage them in conversation saving myself vast amounts of time and frustration. They will try anything to convince you to abandon this policy and I have seen it all up to and including faking videochats, calling on the phone and pretending to be the person represented or having someone stand in and pretend to be, to refusals to videochat by any alternative means when claiming problem with their phone to which I suggest calling from a friends phone or borrowing a tablet at the library or anything else. I have had them offer up all manner of identification documents for the individual they are pretending to be, obviously a former victim who responded in the wrong way to their demand of a copy of your id when you ask to verify them. In all of these interactions over the years would you guess how many have actually videochatted to demonstrate legitimacy? Thats right, not a one, because everyone online practically, if they talk to you, is a scammer, this site being one notable exception. I have never been approached by a scammer here I will say. Another policy you would do well to adopt is one which forbids under any circumstances that you show your face and genitalia in the same image video or stream. It 100% shuts down all the would be blackmailers as they never get the necessary information or files to present a credible threat. This assumes a general policy of maintaining anonymity to begin with and drawing a stark line between the worlds of online fantasy play and down and dirty real life since obviously someone knowing you in real life who identifies you online could present a credible threat of blackmail even in the absence of damning confirmatory evidence since even the introduction of rumors of your online activities can be seriously damaging in your familial, professional and social circles. Great stigma still exists against many of the ways we may choose to exercise our sexuality’s in this virtual sandbox. I use each of the aforementioned policies and they have served me quite well. They will protect you equally as well if rigorously implemented. Best of luck to you and be careful here bandying about that place you encountered difficulties in. It is verboten here due to the anomy of present ownership towards the unmentionable T word. They don’t fuck around with this policy and will ban you faster than you can whip out your cock for daring write it here.
