Anyone know how a simple vibrator works and how to fix one? Have one that is having trouble working after a few months, and know it has something to do with this metal flat wire that runs down the interior of the battery shaft. It’s not the motor either. I’ve randomly gotten it to work partially or intermittently fully, but can’t get it to work consistently or at all sometimes. It’s some sort of contact problem. I could chuck it and order a new one, but don’t want to waste money on something that will just break again.

I really recommend what the above commentator said about checking the warranty. Most higher end vibes have a six month warranty and it's pretty easy to have it exchanged if you bought it at a store. I've done this in the past when one my vibes stopped being able to charge after 3 months. I would only try DIY fixing it if it's been more then 6 months.
