I think the mold adds a little more size, because they never look exactly the same as the actor's cock.

I have purchased many of them (collectibles -- like coins or stamps lol) and have to say they are hit or miss, mostly miss.

The Doc Johnson dildos are mostly inaccurate. Many of them add length so that the lie about double-digit length (10 inches!) is preserved. For example, the Prince Yahshua dildo exaggerates overall length to about 11 inches, even though he's likely just 7, if that. They got a great mold of his dick, though -- the detail and thickness are spot on. They have good molds of Rob Piper, Alex Jones, and Jax Slayher. Some molds are half assed, like Chad White's and Xander Corvus. These guys are thicker than the dildos would have you believe. I think it comes down to the fact that staying rock hard with a bunch of gook poured over your dick is not easy, so you get a mold of the guy at 70 percent or 80 percent hard.

I have seen some guys do scenes with their molds. Manuel Ferrara did an OF with a starlet who is sucking his dick and the mold side-by-side. I’ve purchased a couple of the Fleshlight replicas, Cody Cummings and Austin Wilde. For the most part, I think the company tries to stay true to the actor’s size, at least with the early models. The evidence I've seen myself is that some are authentically cloned, while others are "enhanced". When they say they worked on one with the model doing castings/moldings, I believe afterward they just digitally or physically interpolate the skin texture to "stretch" it for the final mold. The first easy test is length; if it's 12 inches or more, it's not a real clone lol.
