Maybe if you hang around in a group who think anything less than seven inches is "small", people will self - deselect as samples- you won't see their dicks, because effectively you are bullying them into running away and hiding ... So your distorted perceptions are automatically validated.

I'm pretty sure that 7 inches is marginally more than average ... And that 5 or 6 inches are not at all unusual.

statistically the average is 5,5 so anything outside that range will be rarer. however in my experience 5,5 has been more unusual with 7 or 7,5 being more common. is that because gay men are typically bigger or because bigger men like to put it about more?

yeah, it says that the self-reported average among gays is slightly higher than the self-reported average among straight people. the difference, though, is only a third of an inch. in any case, it doesnt rule out the possibility that gays have a greater propensity to exaggerate, which would make sense considering the importance (perceived or actual) placed on penis size among many gay men.

Numerous studies have shown the statistical irregularity of 7.5". My own qualitative experience has been that most guys who claim over 7" are lying or measured incorrectly. A *legit* 7.5" is not that common. Self-reported anything is basically useless data, so the OP needs to get out the ruler next time

I'd like to know where you hang out, because where I hang out, most of the men seem to be 4 to 5 inches. At a gay cruise spot in New Orleans I was at recently, most of the men were hanging 4" to 5". Some of the black guys were the exceptions. So, to me, 4"-5" seems very common. Rarely do I see a dick 7.5". It's been years since I saw one that big.

Pretty much. Men all want to sound big, so many measure from their assholes so they can feel 7", or just make up their measurement.
