Sorry, my computer suffered from lag and slow functioning lol so I couldn't figure out what was going on with the replying... I meant to write this:
"I know right. There used to be a few ways that have worked for me, but there mustve been an update that have now made things unrecognizable for programs to pick up. For OF and JFF; There's nothing that I've found that work unfortunately yet.
I've tried different extensions for Chrome, EDGE, and Safari... Certain extensions work for other sites to recognize and download from, but for the OF and JFF content, it hasn't been successful for me. I used to be able to before, with chrome extensions and EDGE extensions too.
I'd recommend not buying WHALE downloaded either. Doesn't work lol I thought it work because it mentioned recognizing different files and extensions, but it only works for things more mainstream? Like Youtube videos, is what they mentioned I think.
I'm curious and looking for a new too, but because the update was recent, I think it might take time, as it could be something entirely new? Otherwise, Idk what would be working now.
Thought I also mention, that I've mainly tried over my computer for the web extensions that stopped working (previous did though); and then I also have an android, which works great imo. Unfortunately, the apps I've used that used to work too, no longer do. They still do for other sites though.
The 2 mobile apps are both hilariously just called "Video Downloader", but the icons are different obviously. Both have arrows pointing down, but one has a yellow line (vertical), and the other has an orange box that the arrow goes into. Both have been great and I still use them. The one with the yellow vertical line is probably better than the other one I've mentioned imo. They also both have ads, but you can bypass them whenever they happen by "Fixing" your phone? It's the option that you can do to clear caches or "optimize your phone"? I think a lot of androids can do this; make it a widget, and then just press a button.. its so simple and works often. Sometimes doesn't, but I just close the app, restrart it, and then it'll work after that. The whole process is fast, easy, and simple. Or at least it was...
