this is a lil slut shame-y lol I don't think the issue necessarily is that he's showing his ass (also not sure how Hugo has misled anyone, though to be fair I don't keep close tabs on him), but that his music just isn't of quality. he apparently is unaware of this and so the disparity of engagement between his different types of content doesn't make sense to him. it's definitely annoying to see guys make statements about it like he did. I used to follow Matthew Crawford (embarrassing) and he would occasionally post something similar "people only like me because i'm pretty but I'm more than that" but then not deliver on any of the "more than that" he claimed to be lol the lack of self awareness is.... something lol

I kinda see his point. Unfortunately, when you go the sex route, your audience won't take anything else you do seriously. I've seen so many content creators try to branch off and pursue other things from cooking, to fitness, to music, to acting and it never works out. The gatekeepers in those spaces don't want sex workers coming in and the audience that these SW'ers already have are usually only interested in them sexually.

I think these content creators would be much better off hiring a financial advisor and learning how to invest the money they make from sex work. It's rare that see you guys owning property or doing anything super constructive with the money they make.
