Phil Lesh passed away this morning.
He is a singular force in my life. Part of my soundtrack.
I danced in his bar, danced to his bass playing, dance in his honor.
Other GenX-ers had tv and movie stars, various musicians. I had the Dead. Where the weird were pro! And how weird we are.
I’m broken hearted. But so happy his music was in my life.
