I saw a 20 something guy today walking down the street and immediately noticed something I don’t see very often anymore, his a big fat dick was snaking down the leg of his jeans. Yes i agree with both the post's. boxershorts was a great invention, loved working with guy's in the early 90's when they was wearing tracky bottoms, and showing what length they had. happy days.

Boxer shorts are great. I started wearing them when I was 22 - love having it all hanging loose. Several younger guys still wear them - you can see the waistband - but they don't seem to have much on display in front, even in skinny jeans.

I grew up wearing briefs. In my 20s, I decided to try boxers, and bought a pack. It felt strange to not have my dick and balls held in place, and I felt conspicuous about my dick outline showing. Erections were frequent when walking as I felt the material rubbing back and forth across the head of my dick. It actually felt good to have my dick loosely pointing down and to the right as opposed to being confined in snug underwear. I always wore briefs to work, though.

Many years later, boxers became the rage. Saw so many guys on campus who sported boxers and dick outline. One time in the computer lab, I needed help. The lab assistant came to my desk. He was wearing bronze colored cords, and I could not miss his 5" softie hanging down his cords. His dick was eye level to me, and I admired how big it was. I bought more boxers and started to wear them to school more than briefs. I loved feeling my dick bounce around as I walked from class to class, often had a semi, and no longer felt any sense of embarrassment that my dick showed.

Just before I joined LPSG, I switched from briefs to boxers full time. It was a big step to wear boxers to work, but I never looked back and have rarely worn briefs ever since. I especially love to wear boxers with gym shorts and track pants. I just cannot do snug underwear anymore.

The revival was the result of the Levis ad in 1985, when Nick Kamen stripped to a pair of white boxers - first shown, on, appropriately, Boxing Day! (Apparently they were not allowed to show him in a pair of Y-fronts). As it says:

I remember starting to wear them regularly and getting random erections, like @sdbg. I had experimented a bit before, as at secondary school we were made to wear our PE and games shorts (white and black cotton) with nothing underneath, and I sometimes wore them as underwear instead of the boring old Y-fronts,as the feeling of freedom was good. But everyone wore briefs of various sorts. There was a guy at college (mid-70s) who wore boxers (the waistband used to show above his jeans sometimes) but I did not know him, so could not find out why!

It does annoy me a bit when guys talk about their boxers, and you find out they mean tight trunks, and not 'real' boxer shorts.

Boxers has been my only type of underwear since college. I enjoy the fresh air coming in when wearing shorts in summer. VPL is pretty obvious in gym shorts or sweatpants. You can see the length and the shape of my dick head.
