Hello, everyone. I'm new here, but I have been consumed by my insecurity of my penis for a long time. It won't seem to go away and I think it primarily is because I don't really know what other men's penises look like compared to mine. All I have is what I see on the pornos but they clearly are not representative of the general population. So, awhile ago, I did research and determined that I have a pretty average penis.
Then, I started to go out with a girl and I asked her what she thought about my penis compared to other guys. At first, I got positive feedback... but not regarding my length. She said she likes the girth and the way it looks, if I'm paraphrasing. She wouldn't compare my length to other guys she's been with. Then, one time she brought up a story about her being with a guy with a "thick 9.5 inch penis" and that kind of made me freak out because that puts me at a lower end of her personal sample. She apparently never measured it with a ruler, but apparently she knows somehow. She said the smallest she's been with is a 5-incher. I thought the real average was like 5.5 inches, so it's odd for her smallest to be only 5 inches.
I guess my question is the following: is the average penis really 5.5 inches? One should note that a Reddit user called "KnowsPenisesWell" goes through the flaws of many penis length studies and shows that the average is NOT 5 inches. Not by a longshot. The average bone-pressed is likely 6.2 inches, with some studies showing 6.5-6.7 inches bone-pressed. If the average is apparently 5 as they say it is, why is it that when I'm looking at B/G tapes posted by OnlyFans girls, there are no 5's or 4's. They seem to be at least 6-7 inches, at least, and these are not exactly male pornstars on OnlyFans.
If I am 6 inches bone-pressed, does that make me below average? I just put my length and girth on the CalcSD calculator and it returned 80 percentile for both, but somehow I don't believe a 6x5 inch penis is 80 percentile. What is the truth?
