I'm a guy in my 60's and in the past few years I have noticed some red areas on my glans and shaft that appear. Sometimes there is discomfort but often I wouldn't even be aware if I didn't look. I've been to a urologist in the past and then for the last few years I've seen a nice lady dermatologist. She did a small tissue biopsy and nothing showed up. She feels it is a type of contact dermatitis that flares from time to time.
She prescribed some mild steroid cream to use ONLY occassionally and only when the irritation seems the worst. I try to keep things clean. I changed my laundry soap and wear very soft underpants made from bamboo fiber. (super soft and comfy too). But it is frustrtating for me if I want to have an intimate encounter with someone that my penis will look unappealing.
Do any of you guys have something like this you are dealing with? If so, any suggestions as to what works for you to keep it in check?
