So I remember reading in a magazine once about a woman who apparently had this condition that everytime she touched something that vibrated or something that was phallus-like she would orgasm. This could happen several times a minute.

She was a hairdresser and every time she turned on a hair dryer she would orgasm. Eating dinner with her family also often caused her to orgasm from holding a knife and fork. The poor thing couldn't have sex, or not for very long, because she would have an orgasm within 2 seconds. She was always exhausted from orgasming all day, understandably!

I thought some of the knowledgeable women here might now if this could actually be true, or is it just some fictitious story to sell a magazine?

Please note that men who post stupid comments to hijack my thread like "where do I find a girl like that" or "she'd get that condition if she saw my dick" will not be tolerated :)

It's real, though the cases I've read the women generally found it debilitating / life wrecking (interfering severely with the possibility of having a normal work or social life, physical discomfort from too many orgasms, etc).

If I was gonna have a spontaneous orgasm disorder, I'd rather it be something like this: http://www.snopes.com/risque/aphrodisiacs/yawn.asp. I don't yawn enough during a given day for that to be more than a pleasant surprise (I'd have to stay away from boring meetings at work though).

I have seen several reports on tv news about women who have a disorder where they orgasm all the time - PGAD is what it is called - and in one of those stories I remember hearing about a woman who would orgasm from touching the Statue of Liberty - so If that is possible - I assume just about anything is possible as an orgasm trigger.

I really do empathise with anyone who has to live with this. The yawning one definitely seems like the lesser of two evils.

Thanks for sharing.... I'm assuming this can exist for men too? Is there a "cure" or drugs to stop it?

The causes vary. Most of the cases I've seen were related to an antidepressant and by switching they were able to get it to stop, but there were some that are still suffering :/

("seen" = read about online. I'm not a doctor).

I hope not but i guess it belongs to an orgasm :/ so they have to wear diapers or a condom whole? Glad im healthy so far

Heard about it in women but never men. Wait, maybe I did but it had something to do with a dude with a spinal cord injury, can't recall?

It be interesting to experience on a day off, say, for an afternoon of excessive me time. But after that I'd feel the need to get shit done and tripping orgasms as I'm trying to grocery shop, fuck, just drive there, wouldn't be favorable to those activities.

But I wouldn't wish this on anyone ...

I once took this medicine that the side effect was spontaneous orgasms. I always felt tingly down below and if I tried to have an orgasm it would take less than 30 seconds of intense focus to have one.

Did the orgasms feel as good as ones you'd have from sex or masturbation?

They were quite strong.

I have this sex toy called the Womanizer that has made me orgasm in 11 seconds. I only know this because I was counting to see how long it would take. I still take the medication but not a high dose like before.

If you could control it the way you described, that'd be a fun superpower. It'd save some time surfing porn anyways :p

I can orgasm without a sexual thought or fantasy. I can masturbate while watching Hoarders and have 20 clitoral orgasms and never get turned on or wet. I can compartmentalize orgasms pretty well.

I see it more as a tension release or a way to fall asleep.

Do you still have that lamp tucked away somewhere, or did you use up all three of your wishes?

LOL. It's just nature's way of giving me something good sexually with this inpenetrable vag I have.

I vaguely remember the person you're talking about.

I had seen this video as well as another on this a long time ago. It seems quite uncomfortable. Very sad when something that's supposed to be pleasurable turns into a source of anguish.
