Just A Laugh...it’s Coming For You....

Menopause for the women in my mom's side of the family starts early, generally in their early thirties with most hitting the end before they get to 40. My mom had a full hysterectomy right after I was born, so I can't speak to when she had hers due to it being medically onset.

I will say that I am showing some of the early signs though, so it looks like I'll be no different in that department than the other ladies on mom's side.

Such is life.

I’m “cheating” by riding it out with an IUD with localized progesterone. I don’t have a great read on how often the cycle is rolling because my PMS was always inconsistent, and remains so. I think I’m still less than a year without confirmed periods, based on breast pain, crankiness, and expected breakthrough bleeding (spots).

I’m okay with considering bio identical “hormone” pellets if I get signs that will impact quality of life.
