I prefer to subscribe to creators on JFF rather than OF because OF is terrible, facilitates scamming, and imposes idiotic restrictions, but the JFF site is practically unusable. Set aside the fact that they blocked people from states with age verification laws with no option to provide verification, preventing you from accessing your account even if you had paid for and recurring subscriptions when the ban went in to place and offered no refunds. (Most sites let you have access if you have paid for subscriptions with a valid credit card). And set aside the fact that they have implemented a universal DRM system applicable to all videos that is just as bad, if not worth, than OF's terrible implementation.

The worst thing about the site is that content just doesn't even load most of the time. If an account has more than about 30 posts, you scroll down and get a message saying that's all the content when there is clearly a lot more there. You have to manually go through and change the date settings and go through the content month-by-month (or often more frequently) just to see what has been posted. It's been that way for well over a year and they have done absolutely nothing to fix it.

Has anyone else had this experience? One of the worst user experiences of any site I've paid to use. I wish creators there would move to Fansly, which has a much better (and much more functional) website, allows all the same content, and doesn't facilitate scamming like OF.

Can’t say that I’ve dealt with that experience yet, but in the meantime, my initial thought would be to get a VPN that tells JFF (and any other site you visit) that you’re from a different state.

Hell, some hotels and coffee shops have WiFi networks based in other states. (I know that, because I travel for a living and I could be in California and Google sends me alert that someone in North Carolina is trying to access my Gmail account.). I know that probably doesn’t help in the long-term, but it could be a quick Band-Aid solution.

Yeah, I use a VPN and it is fine. I just raise it because I think it's bullshit that they blocked people with active subscriptions and refused to give any refunds. Other porn sites have blocked certain states too, but not people with active subscriptions.
