Keeping it "straight"...

I've a friend who's undergoing M to F gender reassignment (currently on hormones).
I remember her as him, and often keep going back to that when addressing her, often referring to her as him.

Is there an easy way to keep this straight/straighten it out? I'm pretty sure she prefers not to be referred to as "him"

its a complicated thing i recommend keeping a contact like image or facebook etc with their female identity on and over time u will get used to saying her ive been transitioned for over a year now and my family still slip up time to time its not something thaTS easy to do in a short time x

I've been transitioned for 15+ years now and my friends from high school still on the occasion will slip and refer to me as him, it's an honest mistake but you will get used to it, just takes time.
