I’m wondering why no one has written a book or screen play on Ken Sprague a bodybuilder, school teacher, prostitute, gay porn actor and owner and of the original Gold's Gym.

Ken an athlete and amateur bodybuilder is encouraged by a friend to model and poses for Jim French the founder of Colt Studios and works under the name Dakota.

He also married a black girl, which was frowned upon back in the 60s. So was Ken straight or bi and how did that work within porn and marriage?

Ken starts doing hardcore gay sex films called loops, short films for Colt as well as hustling on the side becoming financially stable. If you watch any of the films, Ken is very versatile and looks like he’s having a good time.

Hi. I watched your vid on Ken a few weeks ago and it sparked my interest. I worked in porn briefly back in the late 90s at Colt. Ken's life is fascinating, and I wonder why no one has written about his life. I think he's still alive, so he'd be a great person to interview, write a book, screenplay and even a movie. I'm no longer connected with Hollywood so I thought if I wrote something on LPSG someone would run with it.
