Have been meaning to post this for ages. For as long as I can remember, I have very little sensation in the head of my penis. Im uncircumcised but believe I had my frenulum cut when I was very young. I have no other sexual issues (getting aroused, maintaining an erection), but generally get no pleasure from stimulation on the head of the penis due to not feeling anything. It’s not completely numb - I can feel temperature, pressure, etc - but very little feeling overall. I could never get an orgasm from oral sex. I masturbate but it’s generally the pressure on the shaft that gets me across the line. Penetrative sex hasn’t been an issue but as I’m getting older I enjoy it less now - I’m finding I need multiple sources of stimulation (visual, butt plugs etc) at the same time to really feel good.

I’ve researched online but can’t seem to find anything that is similar to what I experience. I’ve just turned 40 and am set on improving my life and this is something that’s been bothering me.

Any advice on what I could do?or even what this condition is called?

I just think that some people have more sensitive glans than others. Mine isn't sensitive enough to cum with a blow job but I use other stimuli like butt plugs or electro-sex (nothing heavy). I think what you've described is fairly normal but then again what is normal. It's not something you should get worried about though.

Wouldn't worry about this at all mate. I'm uncut and while I do have sensation on my glans, it's more like the sensation I have on my fingertips. Sure, that can be sensual in certain situations, but it is by no means my main sexual pleasure. For me it's the stretching of the skin as it's moved up and down my shaft. As long as you have a thing that brings you pleasure, even if it's only one, go with what works for you. And go often ;)

Be interested to hear more about why you think you had your fenulum cut. Does it just look that way, or can you recall an event, like a doctors visit? I snapped mine in my early teens. Freaking shock at the time because who gets warned about that, right, but it healed quickly and turned out to be the best thing that ever happened as I gained a lot of mobility without the tugging on the head. I know a few guys that had theirs cut in their late teens, early 20s. None ever had any tissue removed, just a nick to the thin band of skin. All very happy with the results and glad to still be uncut. Any chance yours just tore by itself when you were young?

I really like the tugging of the head by the frenulum.

Uh - just normal??
Contrary to what porn makes most believe, the dick head is NOT the most sensitive part of the penis. And great sex partners know where to attack during foreplay (definitely NOT the glans)...

As seen above, that lack of sensitivity applies to both cut and uncut cocks.
If you had your sensitive frenulum removed for whatever reason, it should still be the remainder of your foreskin that is the most sensitive part of your cock?

Maybe can I suggest that you spend a few hours alone to explore the sensation of your penis as per the pictures above? Would be most interested in what you'll say afterwards.
I also had the issue that I never got to orgasm from oral sex alone, until I get to meet a fuck buddy who knows exactly where to stimulate... When he's the one doing it, I actually have to say often "STOP or I'll cum". ;)

As seen above, that lack of sensitivity applies to both cut and uncut cocks.
Well, different areas need different stimulus.
Often we are get used to a kind of stimulation (it doesn't care if all the cock is stimulated : unconsciously we make more pressure on the areas we feel more comfortable).

An example are the nipples : probably the most underrated area of the male body. Tons of people think they are no sensitive but almost everybody can learn how awake it and damn, it becomes so incredible.
It was my case.
The kind of mind state and stimulus is totally different to the cock.

Personally I learned to wank rubbing my frenulum as it was the most sensitive area.
Some time later I found than using lube, the coronal ridge is as sensitive as it, being both the areas which trigger easier the eyaculation reflex (I'm uncut and it made I don't need lube).

The foreskin seems to be a very sensitive area but sadly I had never luck.

For ending the middle of the glands is one of the most curious areas (on the picture the left and right part are bigger than on the reality.
Rubbing it at the same speed and together the rest of areas, it seems no have sensitive but again it is wrong.

Everybody can try this (I recommend to to isolate the area and later focus only on it) :

1) go to the shower as probably you need to clean faster
2)caught a little of toothpaste and put there. You will no feel anything unless you go further and it touchs other areas, which makes it extremely hard: coronal, left and right part of the center, top and frenulum.
On any of these areas the mint makes we feel a lot of intensity which becomes painful if you don't clean.

Well, now you have the area delimited.

Put some lube on your fingers and stimulate it on circles with one or two fingers. At the beginning you don't feel anything but as time pass a wonderful sensation will born from it.
Some people needs it be done with more pressure, try what work better for you.
As I said have patience : once it begin you will love. It feels different, you don't feel any kind of eyaculation feelings but an awesome pleasure which moves around your cock, balls and if you go on, the full body, which ends on increíble orgasms.

Breath deeply to help you to let the pleasure surrender you.

As summary : it is true than the sensivity changes between people BUT it depends mainly of our mind and what we are used.
Fortunately we can learn how to "awake" others areas (as I said the mindset and way of stimulation is different. As example for nipples you need be relaxed and focused on your chest, let it build slowly. Just the opposite with cock).

If you had your sensitive frenulum removed for whatever reason, it should still be the remainder of your foreskin that is the most sensitive part of your cock?

It is the most common as it is all the area, not only the frenulum.

Maybe can I suggest that you spend a few hours alone to explore the sensation of your penis as per the pictures above? Would be most interested in what you'll say afterwards.
Wonderful advice!

I also had the issue that I never got to orgasm from oral sex alone, until I get to meet a fuck buddy who knows exactly where to stimulate... When he's the one doing it, I actually have to say often "STOP or I'll cum". ;)
Yeah. As I said the mind plays an important role but fortunately we can relax and let it happen and if it is stimulated correctly, boom!

For ending cum= orgasm and eyaculation.
The latest is a reflex which can be triggered without need of erotic stimulation.
I know it can sound crazy but during a few hours after death, it can be triggered stimulating certain areas of the back. why somebody could be interested?
From people who have male animals to let pregnant female ones (it moves a lot of money), to people who want keep the semen of other(i prefer stop as it can have toon of awfully uses, the one I had read is similar to the animals one : using it to get pregnant and that way having a huge portion of an heritage)

No feeling sensation in mine over 45 years cut cock. The best feeling in the balls.
I'm jaleous as my balls are sensitive but I lost the pleasure very fast.

About the foreskin it is an erogenous area whose purpose is keeping the glands protected and avoid it be totally dry.
When it is cut, as they are nothing to protect the glands, it ends being dry most time and the continuous touch with the underwear /trousers.. make it less sensitive.
It happens by something called keratizacion (Excuse me if I have written it uncorrectly)
They are lot of people who are restoring their frenulum (well, the new area is no true frenulum but the new skin behave as it) which found than the sensivity increased as the new foreskin is protecting the glands, it dekeratized and on some cases the smegma appears again.
They are some interesting subs on reddit related to it. I recommend anyone who is cut or is thinking on do it, read them.

For ending they are other important key: if the person is no get used to retract the foreskin when he goes to pee, when he shower to clean it.. it can stretch which is called phymisis. It can be very painful.

As the glands is protected, some uncut males feel an intense sensation when the coronal ridge is touched which feels as pain.
A few is so intense than they can support a blowjob.
Excuse me for the speech

Natural (not circumcised) 59 year old here, the sensitivity of my glands is about 25 percent of what it used to be, might be age related, but I think it may have been caused by Viagra use. When using Viagra, I certainly would be rock hard, but the feeling in my cock head was less.
Glad I'm not circumcised, because most of my feelings is from the inner part of the foreskin, that picture above is not incorrect.
