Leather Cock Ring - Snaps Or Velcro?

So after fumbling with both my silicone and metal cock rings... I've come to the conclusion I need a leather one to wrestle my tight balls in to. I know a couple of you here swear by them. While I know the snap type is the most popular, how are the leather with velcro ones? I shave smooth so no hair regardless. Samples of the them:

Snap ones really good and if you get it to tight its easier to remove than a metal cockring. I use velcro when I'm out for a fun night with mates and want to show a bit of a bulge.

I'm smooth too and have two of the snap on type. They both have two stud options so I can wear them loose or ultra tight, depending on my mood. In the pic here they are both on a tight setting. I've never tried a velcrose one.

I have a pretty snug metal ring (1.75" dia) that is a struggle to get into. And even then, my balls try to flee. So then I got a silicone one that is easier to get on but it's rather thick so sort of rolls off and again... the boys pop back out. I tried a thinner silicone one but it felt like a pinching rubber band. I think the leather one will be much better as I can make it tight enough to keep it on. Nothing worse than a ball popping out unannounced! Ouch!

My thinking is the velcro offers more of a micro adjustment... But for me, it's either on or it's off. Any slack in the fit... And the boys pop back out. So I'll go with the snaps first. Heck, they're pretty inexpensive so I'll try both if I have to.

One question: Is there any time that you get any kind of chafing with the leather one? I don't have a huge fat pad or anything... But the thought crosses my mind.

Well... My followup to the leather cock ring saga...

I didn't find a leather one at my local store. But I did find an inexpensive soft plastic one that works about the same. Turn out... My balls are too far up in me these days (testosterone replacement does not help). I tried to lasso the boys as I tried to snap it... But they sink right back into my body.

So I tried a suggestion I read to take a wet towel with hot water and warm the area till they drop (just like they do at night when I'm more relaxed. It works. But... I have to make the strap pretty tight to keep them them in place. I can also put on my metal one if I follow this technique. The down side is I have to plan for wearing it as opposed to just sitting my car somewhere.
