I didn't have HBO growing up and I didn't know about Oz. Luckily my father gave me a blockbuster's card and I was allowed to rent any movie or show cause he didn't have any age restrictions and I would look for movies that look steamy so I could see naked men. Anyway one day I decided to pick up Oz there was nothing else I saw and baby when I tell you when I saw that show and the content they were showing I was a fan for life! By time I discovered Oz it was already cancel so actually got into the show and the storylines and it wasn't just about the nudity
If you have hbo you can sign up for hbo on demand and download old episodes for free. I know amazon video app/youtube have the complete series but you have to purchase them.

TMZ and The Blast say that paramedics were called to the Riverdale actor’s home in Sherman Oaks, Calif., on Wednesday at 9:40 a.m. to treat someone suffering a stroke. Perry, who soared to stardom in the ’90s on Beverly Hills, 90210, was transported to the hospital.
A spokesperson for the star, 52, tells Yahoo, “Mr. Perry is currently under observation at the hospital,” but provided no further details.
On Thursday afternoon, TMZ reported that a Perry family source said the star had been put in a medically induced coma. However, Perry’s rep said that is untrue. The website now reports that Perry is “sedated.”
Perry’s health crisis occurred the same day that his former Peach Pit co-stars announced their Beverly Hills, 90210 reboot. The actor, a father of two, did not sign on to star in the project, which will feature Jason Priestley, Jennie Garth, Ian Ziering, Gabrielle Carteris, Brian Austin Green and Tori Spelling, and air on Fox. He played heartthrob Dylan McKay.

Theres never gonna be a show like this, with this amount of full frontal. Kinda sad.
It wasn't just the nudity, it was all the really powerfully written characters, that's what gave the actors the confidence to leave it all on the stage. Actors won't just take their clothes off for any crap material, credit Tom Fontana (Oz creator) with building a show that supported the raw honesty portrayed in it. and drew top quality performers who weren't afraid to bare their soul.
