Let's not kid ourselves. Porn is a dirty business. The money can be good, but you are basically a piece of meat. And like in the music business, there are periods of "downtime" and boredom that can lead to things like drug abuse--with plenty of douchbags on hand to cater to your "needs." And we're talking about people who are in a business where engaging in risky behavior is the very definition of your job. And though there are probably some "nice" people in the business, I'm sure most are cynical and not the kind of people you could rely on in a time of need.
Well, we could stop watching/buying porn; that would dry up the industry which exacerbates the psychological issues which leads so many in that business to use drugs in the first place. We might also do more to try and eliminate child sexual abuse, as that's what leads so many young women to go into the sex trades, as well as get addicted to drugs.
