What would a "bisexual" guy refused to do a gay scene?

That’s kind of a naive question (no offense). Having some queer dynamics/being in the gender, sexual, affection, romantic, emotion, commitment spectrum doesn’t really have anything to do with what roles you’re willing to play or what you’re willing to do on camera. Plenty of closeted guys with queer dimensions refused to do anything queer on camera in the 70s, 80s, 90s, 00’s. Hell, there are dudes in hetero porn with queer dimensions and even whole ass boyfriends who refuse to do anything gay on camera. It’s all about what image you want to project and how you want to be perceived by the general public. You also have many “out” actors who are desperate to prove how convincingly “straight” they can be on camera. Never mind that stuff like internalized phobias, masculine insecurities, gay panic are still prominent today even among out y but would especially be prominent decades ago.

I’m not sure how true these “rumors” are. If they are true he clearly never fully became comfortable with queerness and never had an unabashed, long-term same-sex relationship. All I know is he’s one of the few “hotties from the 80s” to aged well and maintained his sex appeal for a long time.
