I am a Christian and I do not belong to the LDS church. A year ago I met a missionary who was really a wonderful guy. He figured out I was gay right away but he still came to see me because he knew I was a nice person and I genuinely enjoyed our discussions. He would visit me with his companion about once a week four four months and then he had to ship out. I started reading about the church online and while there were some negative things I also found it very interesting as a religious studies teacher. I really enjoy the videos that some of the missionaries post on YouTube with singing and dancing and jokes. So many of the missionaries are interesting, polite, thoughtful, kind, and yes, really cute. I find the whole subject of the missionaries really fascinating. I would love to meet members who have recently returned, that is, people who would be between 20 and 28. I'd enjoy chatting with them and possibly becoming friends. I wonder if there are any church members here who could help me meet some of the guys. I am not looking for a boyfriend or a date but it would be nice to meet some new friends.
