Hold up am I missing something? Did he disparage the movement?I hate to be the kind of person I used to deplore, but seeing that he hasn't said anything on social media about the recent BLM protests, do you guys think he's a secret racist? Even reposting a lousy hashtag would be easy to dispel the notion.
To make up for my own sense of ambivalence on requiring such virtue signalling, anyone who still wants the original collection can DM me in the next 48 hours.
No no, he just didn't say anything. That's why I'm somewhat disgusted with what I have become LOL. But it'd be nice if people have more concrete gossip one way or the other.Hold up am I missing something? Did he disparage the movement?
Huh I’m even more confused now?No no, he just didn't say anything. That's why I'm somewhat disgusted with what I have become LOL. But it'd be nice if people have more concrete gossip one way or the other.
Well, to be perfectly clear, I'm the kind of guy who (kinda) accuse someone of being a secret racist just because they did not denounce racism. But mostly I'm willing to hear actual gossip (past actions or personal anecdote) if there are any.Huh I’m even more confused now?
They need to realize that their personal opinions don't really matter in the situation and should just use the voices to amplify those that are actually affectedDid any see Nick S. insta story on BLM today? It was hella cringe ... he since deleted the stories ... I dont think Nick or Michael D. are racist, they just live in white privilege/influencer land. To be fair most people don't follow them because of the type of people they are but because they are hot.
I didn’t see nick he erased but what did he said I would like to know if anyone knowsThey need to realize that their personal opinions don't really matter in the situation and should just use the voices to amplify those that are actually affected
It’s always hard for me to believe that “influencers” stand for much of anything publicly. So much of what they post is virtue signaling. Whatever gets them the most likes and followers is what they’ll do. Once in a while you see how they actually feel about something and mostly they just get attacked so they say some dumb crap like “I sincerely apologize and will do better” like a scolded 3rd grader.Michael had some posts about BLM, so he was supporting it. But then again, he used to be fully trumpster when he had that social media breakdown and then deleted and restarted everything
And the classic "I'm sorry that you get offended..." Frankly I'm tired of platitudes as well and I was very conflicted for even bringing these up.It’s always hard for me to believe that “influencers” stand for much of anything publicly.
