I've noticed a weird trend lately of people posting straight up lies about what is on someone's OF page, in a negative way. There have been "promoters" around here for a while, trying to convince people to subscribe to OF pages that are scammy or just shit. But trying to discourage people from subscribing to pages that are actually decent, or even great, is a new thing. I wonder what the motivation for this is. OF is a very competitive space, and creators do some strange things to gain a competitive edge (one of my biggest pet peeves is where they refuse to tag any scene partners because they are afraid that promoting someone who contributed to their own success will somehow cause them to lose subscribers, which is nonsensical). Is it other creators or managers trying to smear good creators with the hope that it will get them more subscribers? Or just people that have some petty beef they are trying to settle? Who knows.
In short, don't believe everything you read on here, even if it sounds like like a legit warning. I try to correct misinformation when I see it, but hard to do when it is just one person's word against another. It's unfortunate that people would stoop to such a level.
