Naked Yoga

I've have been doing some Yoga in the mornings lately and i want to give this ago naked. not sure if i will get a better outcome or not. I have searched on youtube and porn sites some male naked yoga but cant really find any for my self to use, do you think i can just use normal Yoga ?.
Once i get this going i am very keen to go to the end of my road and stand on the sand dunes every morning for the sunrise and do naked yoga. it shold be an awesome feeling

Does anyone know where i can get some videos of naked yoga, also do you think it will matter if i use any type of yoga? or does anyone here currently do Naked yoga?, we could get a skype session together as do as a group

I've been doing yoga for 19 years. I've had several different teachers in 5 different yoga disciplines. I was excited about doing a naked yoga class for years but none of them fit my schedule. Finally last November I went to my first naked class:
It was the worst yoga class I've ever attended! And the bodies were all completely unremarkable.

It doesn't have to be so. Pretty much any of the hundreds of poses that I know can be done naked; in fact, I often do my home practice in the nude. And most of the dedicated male yogis I know have great bodies---but it seems they don't take naked yoga classes!

A long time ago my (late) father would get catalogs in the mail that had all sorts of items for old folks. Walkers, support hose, canes, grab bars for toilets, warm snuggly slippers, pill boxes.....and video tapes of people doing naked yoga.
We were like, “What the hell.....?”

I had a chance to do regular naked yoga for several months. It was all men - assuming gay men. The class instructor was quite good. Sure, we all checked out each new guy who came in - but when the rest of the room disappeared and the "practice" took over, I knew I was doing yoga.

As it should be! I've been doing naked yoga for 14 years and it's all about the practice and poses. Bring your good intentions, put aside stresses of the day, and then begin a class that truly makes you a better person physically, mentally, and soulfully.

I went to a naked yoga class yesterday that was worthwhile. There were 16 of us plus the instructor. There was an age range of about 22 to 75, and experience range of brand new to 20 plus years. Everyone seemed very fit for their age. It was fairly basic yoga with no advanced poses, though I and a couple of others took some poses to the next level.
There were several "partner" poses that involved contact with another sweaty body; some of these were more successful than others. It was all about 90 minutes of pure naked fun (and work!).

The group I went to is suspended for a couple months while the teacher is on vacation.
The location varies a bit; I get an email announcing where/when.

Just started attending naked yoga about a month ago. Naked part is the second reason I chose the class. First reason is the schedule. Class size is between 8-12 usually. Age range between 30-70. It's a male-only group that I attend.

It's the best yoga class I've ever attended because of the instructor. In the past, I've only learned by watching. In this class, the instructor moves around the room and helps us better express the moves / poses. Like my weight trainer, the lesson is that 'form' makes all the difference. A slight adjustment with the right coach does fire the muscle(s) in the intended manner.

For me, the naked part helps me see how the muscles should be working when a move / pose is done correctly. The guys in attendance are great. Yeah, everyone takes a peek sure, but we're all there to learn something new and challenge ourselves.

While it is the most difficult hour of my week, it's also the most affirming time of the week for myself.

The instructor sounds like the Iyengar Yoga instructors I have had. In those classes we held the poses until each could get just the right form for their ability. The teachers were highly trained, but unfortunately those were not naked classes. I always felt great for days afterward.

I also did a Power Yoga class for 6 years that was super challenging but so rewarding...but also clothed.

None of the naked classes I've attended have had such good instructors.

Attended my first naked yoga class last week. It was fantastic. As others have said, as soon as class started one quickly remembered it was a yoga class first, we just happened to be in the nude. A few partner poses, swapping after each. Good camaraderie. Unfortunately I don't get into the city often enough to attend regularly.

I did a hot yoga class once with a former colleague in NYC. She was a regular there. I really liked it. I don’t know why I didn’t go back more. It was basically naked. I was just down to little shorts and I don’t think I had underwear on. At least I didn’t when we went in the sauna after.
