Lil Nas X knew full and well that his immature jokes would generate controversy, but he never anticipated that they would get old and annoying fast. Not every gay was excited to see him dance around a pole to Hell. Very boring imo, and also not wise to provoke the Christian base. He was shocked to find out that Christians were upset, including gay ones. I’m an atheist myself and I found it to be boring. I wasn’t bothered by any of the offensive religious elements because I don’t care for nor believe in religion either. It was just… boring. Now the jail bait song?! THAT was a banger. He should’ve kept on that road. That was actually a hit with all types of people, even straight men were impressed with his boldness here. Unfortunately, he made the wrong next move and killed his momentum.
