Sense memory rush while driving around today.

Does anyone remember how the way home sounded? How road surfaces changed the pitch/tone of the tires humming?

Fond recall of laying down in the backseat. Watching lights slide across the interior. Listening as the hum went from highway. To surface streets. The patch of cobblestone roads. The pump three blocks from home.

Made me smile.

but i do recall the 'CATERPILLAR' advertising boards,usually by a railway/roadside,combined
clever/kill 2 birds with one stone advertising huh
when America seemed to be allowed access to our heavy industryin the 60s

relative wealthy business owner of 25 plus years ago
spent several years drinking str expensive scotch and eating chocolate almonds, for/prior to breakfast, over this period ha
pretending i was living the Roman life of debauchery duh

Nestle,was liked,perhsaps even loved in those dsays

cant believe 20 years have passed since i chose to stay/live in the refurbished NAPIER NZ NURSES HOME,no nurses,for a week
turned into a temp accommodation outfit,for those of us who wanted to see year 2000 come over them thar hills ha

days when people thought of others,did there natural best

seasonal work,fruit picking,vegetables etc
Wouldent mind doing that outdoor work WW,these days
especially with whats being paid now

ideal backpacker lifestyle,see the world

admit,the only country i refused to go and work,was a kibutz in Israel,late 70s
grapevine,info sharing can be a wonderful thing
especially when ones dead keen on something,only to think/learn/hear otherwise huh
