Is anyone here a nudist or naturist? I've been looking around for nudist chat rooms but don't know if one is better than the other. Any recommendations?

The chat room at truenudists.com is probably the best general-purpose one to start on. Read their rules carefully before going on cam, or you will get banned.
I also found nonshy.com. Nonshy seems less "restrictive" than truenudists

I don't have much experience yet and I'm not sure about chatrooms but there is a great spot in Rhode Island for it. Dyer Woods. I went for my first uh... nude thing haha, it was really nice. Great trail, swimming pond and a couple places to rent for staying the night or you can camp. Other amenities too. Of course really nice people working there. If you've never done anything like that and get really anxious thinking about it, I did, I'd recommend it as a place to start.
Oh and if anyone wants to maybe go sometime feel free to hmu. May have to wait for it to get warm again but I think it'd be pretty fun to go with a few other guys, maybe camp out over a weekend!

TN use to be a great social nudist site, but it has gone downhill, in my opinion. Was has having a video chat with a nice lady, when she asked if she could see "all" of me, so I stood up for a full frontal view. I was quick admonished by some guy who was watching my cam and was told I shouldn't do that. I was not hard or even touching. I am no longer a member on there.

I've tried the others over the years and honestly more chance of nice chats/connections on here
I agree about TN being infested with sex advertising posts.
However, the body visibility rule about only showing your genital region if your face is also visible is VERY tightly enforced, especially in chat, to try to eliminate the worst of the sexual stuff which had been creeping in.
One thing that often catches people out is that this is enforced to the level that wearing your g-string or bikini briefs on cam is treated as showing your genitals by some moderators as is the short display you sometimes get if you stand up to show your whole body including your face.
