The workplace is an environment with established power dynamics based on job titles and responsibilities. If your office has a gym or you go to a private gym with colleagues, does the locker room alter that dynamic based on physique or cock size, either by reversing the pecking order or equalizing people? In my experience, it's usually the latter, but someone with exceptional physical "assets" will always get more attention or respect in the locker room. Maybe the same way taller people are statistically proven to be promoted and earn more over their careers.

I've lost 35 lbs in the last year and that combined with a nice locker room dick has earned me points that carry into the office. But it's important not to let it get to your head so much that you negate any benefit by acting like a total alpha dick.

This is a good topic. I don't like being naked around co-workers, bosses or subordinates. We started a Friday morning workout thing that almost everyone does, you are expected to be there as your "job" if you signed up for it. We have a gym in the work place complex. Well, after the workout, everyone goes to work after a shower. This is where the problem comes in. Like I said, I don't like being naked in front of people like acquaintances from work. A couple guys act like they could care less, they strip and run to the shower - one is pretty ugly (to me) and has an avg dick. One guy (African American / white mixed) takes his time naked at the locker, he's got a huge hanging cock. I had to put my bashfulness aside and just do what I had to do. I don't flaunt it at all like a couple guys and the guys I work with, my immediate co-workers, cover with a towel for the walk to the shower. I finally showered at the same time as my co-workers after avoiding for a couple weeks. I noticed one guy, very straight, great guy, very good looking too, look at my exposed cock in the shower - a quick glance. This is a guy I work with all day long and joke around with. I know I don't have anything to be ashamed of but it's just me. There are three of us that work closely. The third guy is a little scrawny, skinny dude, late 20's but skinny as a pole. I swear I didn't look, I didn't want to. I didn't want that image in my head. I think I've got this now. It seems like when I get scared my dick wants to shrink up into my belly but I still have a nice looking cock and a decent hanger. These are just my thoughts....

My company subsidizes gym membership. As a former athlete (high school and college football), I hit a gym near the office two-three-four times a week. So do a lot of other guys from work. I'll admit this can be a little embarrassing at times. Although 6'3" and well-built, I'm hung like a chipmunk, especially soft -- then not much more than the head poking out from my pubes.

I've never observed phallic status having any effect on job status. In fact, if anything, just the opposite. I've leap-frogged over guys in promotion who are far far better hung than I am. The only effect I've seen is perhaps social. One of my employees is a Southern Baptist from rural Louisiana with an accent that would make Gomer Pyle exclaim, "Gee, he talk funny!" But he's sharp as a whip. . . And hung like a mule. He's a devoted employee, the type who always makes sure I look good and that my computer has the latest updates. The only way that the disparity in our hung-ness ever shows up is that, when we're alone, I good-naturedly call him "Big Guy". Since I'm 6'3" and he's 5 foot nothing, it's obvious I'm not referring to his height. He gives a modest grin, sometimes a quick laugh. Okay, cock status observed. Then down to business.

So. . . based on my experience, if size has any bearing in the work place, I think it's mainly social, if even that. I doubt it ever comes into play in any work-related manner.

PS. When I first started working there, I ran into the big manager at a local spa. He got a chance to see my small appendage. Apparently didn't hold it against me. He's signed off on my promotions many times since.

@hckyfan03 Agree it's weird at first to take off the khaki's in front of guys you know beforehand. But after 2 years of going to the gym at the same time and day, and seeing the same faces, asses, and dicks, I feel it all becomes routine.

@LilJock So using the 'Big Guy' inside joke helped your relationship. It may not be the reason for promotions, but using self-deprecating humor is another angle to this.

At my work there is a locker room with showers. Some guys go naked without issues. only a few cover with a towel before going to the shower. Cock size has no effect on making progress in the job.
Stud, If it did you be C.E.O. !! lol

I'm short, fat, ugly with a small dick and was made a director of the company in two years. Any company that judges ability by size (height or dick) isn't long for this world.

Either size phenomena would have subconscious, psychological effects. We all have anecdotal experiences, but there is a well-known correlation for height : income and height: positions of leadership.

I was going to bring the height/success correlation up. There are a couple others: looks and athleticism. For some reason, people who are generally considered attractive are somewhat more successful, and the same holds for athleticism. In the latter case, it isn't just whether you play or have played a sport, but just that you work out can do the trick.

When I first started working, I was well aware of the advantage playing football in college gave me. I leapfrogged over others who were far more able and intelligent than me. Supervisors and managers would stop me in the hall or call me into their offices just to get my thoughts on college and professional football. Bigwigs from the central office on "walk around" would be steered my way for introduction for no other reason than "he played football at _______".

Of course, you never know. Might have been another story if nudity in the workplace were the norm. I might be the mail boy.

Well, you're more articulate than most fb jocks I've encountered. So you have that going for you too.

So it seems that in some case actually happens.

As a public school teacher and coach I've seen other coaches in the locker room. I don't feel that it has affected our working relationship. The locker room is about the only common space I share with the other coaches as they are all history or PE teachers, with the exception of the one math teacher that I do work more closely with.

I have had sex with one of my administrators though and that has greatly changed that power dynamic. She went from playful and flirty to more quiet and reserved around me. Don't know if it had to do with just my penis (I'm guessing it was the sex), but there was a noticeable change.

Advantages of telecommuting! Alot of the people I work with have no idea what I look like as we only interact on the phone.
