One night Grindr marathon?

Hey everyone, I’m a 26-year-old bi guy living with friends, and I’ve recently started exploring gay sex. I’m not out yet and don’t plan to come out anytime soon, so I’ve been keeping things low-key.

Lately, I’ve been toying with the idea of booking a cheap Airbnb for a night, turning on Grindr, and just seeing where the night takes me. It’s been a week since my last wank (alone as always lol), and honestly… I’m feeling pretty ready and horny right now.

Has anyone done something like this before? Any tips or stories about being a “Grindr adventurer” for the night? I’d love to hear your experiences!I’m debating whether to try this in a smaller nearby town or go big and head to Budapest. (Or maybe even stay in an all-male hostel dorm—thoughts on that?) Grindr is very hit-or-miss, especially in a small town. Even in a larger city, unless you’re ripped and super hot, you can spend a lot of time doom scrolling for a hookup. If you’re looking for a sexcation adventure for only one day, I suggest picking a place with multiple hookup options, e.g., a sauna, active cruising areas and large number of guys on the apps.

I agree with the above poster about Grindr being hit or miss. It really depends on several factors. 1) how you look. Obviously if you are super fit with porn-star good looks it will be easier to get hook-ups. But if you are more average looking you will get less. Guys on the sites can be fickle, even if you have above average looks, meeting guys for sex is not necessarily easy. 2) How picky you are. Personally I am extremely picky. It's not that I only am only attracted to good looking men, I have had wild sex with average looking guys, but I have a certain type that seems to be a small percentage of men. The pickier you are the less hookups.

I would temper my expectations about a one night “Grindr adventure". You may luck out or you may strike out. Your may be setting yourself up for disappointment. Your best bet is to visit a big city for a few days. A big city means more opportunities for you to find guys you find attractive who also find you attractive AND who share similar sexual goals.

My advise to you is to forget this idea and join a gay hobby group. For example there are gay hiking groups where men meet up on specific days to go hiking or scuba diving or something similar.

I'm 26 yo and quite fit so I think it won't be hard. It's also true that I'm quite selective in terms of hookups (i get to meet really few people).

I booked two nights in a cheap apartment in Budapest. I guess the city is big enough, has meny tourists plus has a lot of saunas and baths. Might try a sauna too

The idea of joining gay groups is good but I was planing a 2 or 3 day trips... So it might be a bit short for that.

I'll also be stayin at a hostel with open showers for another extra night. It'll be good to meet people there too

Yeah it's true... Any guy interested would be probably too much. But I guess fantasizing about it is hot
