liken the visit to Pope John i think who came to NZ in the 60s or 80s maybe
i am not a Catholic so i never took a great deal of interrest but i 'like' Francis in everything he does/says .. heaps

he should be the permanent President of the USA
be incredible PEACE WW forever !!!

Haha you're posts rbkwp never fails to make my day. But you are right both Pope John Paul II and Pope Francis are well loved. They are also very charismatic and close to women and children.

regarding the Pope mobile, I think he was offered by the President a bullet proof luxurious vehicle or something that he refused to take. And I think in an interview he mentioned that he is not afraid to die, if he dies he dies, he's old anyway. Something like that.:biggrin1:

Yes these folk dont mind exposing themselves to nature/natural or un natural occurrences,
ie
whatever happens
dont need no bullet proof heavily armoured vehicles to do Gods work ..
open exposure closer to the people is the aim ..
