Xhamster has also gone the route of Pornhub it seems. I just made a profile a few days ago and it would not allow me to upload any photos other than the main one. I researched the issue only to find it has been like this for a long time now because they will only allow verified users to post pics; which means having to give away all your personal info and post a publicly viewable face pic. Fuck that. Guess I'll be deleting that profile I wasted a good half hour filling out.

I rarely look at porn much anymore, but we do like to post our photos and it seems like there are very few places left that don't expect you to either pony-up, give up privacy or jump through a lot of hoops in order to upload content. At one time there were so many free amateur sites that catered to those who participated just for the fun of it, but everything is now about users making a profit and the host site avoiding legal trouble. I've not understood this. I've used Pornhub, amongst over sites for years and I've never even caught a glimpse of a video on my visual radar that was remotely close to disgusting, disturbing or possibly illegal. None of my porn sites have thrown up scat recommendations (or worse) my way.

I'm kind of stuck understanding the users who "happen" to have had that experience. If people ARE being offered this contents I do suspect it's because the algorithm picks up that they may be interested in them from past data and viewings. Or maybe my choice of porn sites are simply more standardized and safer than other sites. Stricter quality controls perhaps.
