Icemancommeth,

Yes there is an excised that can help with this problem. I have always wanted to tell someone about it, but seem so personal matter.

Well there is the PC MUSCLE: Look it up on the internet for more details. It's the muscle that when you start peeing that you can stop the pee. Try it. The workout can be done everywhere that a good time, so no one know. Driving just squeeze that pee stop muscle, it will be weak at first, but I will gain strength. Squeeze for 10 counts then hold it, then repeat until you are u to 20 counts. When you are right for a sexual encounter you will be amaze who you hold up, and sometime just take your mind off the action going on its help. Think about what went on during the day at work. Hate That Boss or Supervisor and why. Then you will be like me. :toast:

I know it sounds odd, but masterbation is a good method in addidtion to the exercises.
Take an evening where you are alone and turn off the phone, make yourself comfortable with a porno and some lube, and "practice." Pace yourself, find out what gets you going and what puts the breaks on. Try what some people call "Edging", where you stroke it till you just about get off, and then turn your attention to something different - your nipples or ass, maybe rubbing lube or precum into your skin - anything to get you away from your cock and the sensation of cumming. You might even get a shudder, those are great :loveya:
Repeat until you can't stand it any more, and then pound the hell out of it.

Do this for a while, and eventually you get better at controling your load...you'll probably have more intense orgasms to boot!

As Martha would say, "It's a good thing" :+

If you're with a partner you feel comfortable with and both of you want to make it last longer, talk about the situation and get their cooperation. It's ok to stop and pause until the sense of control returns, or even pull out if it's during intercourse and then start again when calmer. The edging approach mentioned above is great. Of course, getting one orgasm out of the way quickly at the start would usually give you a longer lasting time from there on. Pressure release, if you will.

Ingrained habits take time to change, and if your masturbation style is wham bam quick, you'll need to change that to increase your threshold of coming close but not over. You'll probably find that the delayed orgasm is a lot more intense for you.

Anxiety about losing control can also affect you. Relax. When you feel some confidence the anxiety about premature ejaculation dissipates.

When I started out as a teen I had the similar experience of coming really quick (not even a hundred strokes), but usually got hard again almost immediately and we kept going and I lasted longer. Also I had a girlfriend at that time who came pretty easily herself. It wasn't until later that I had a lover who wanted me to last longer so she could come with me inside her that I felt the need to change. Eventually I could last over 45 minutes which seemed to be her ideal. Sometimes well over an hour.

It doesn't happen overnight. I think the average North American male typically lasts 5-10 minutes. Mileage may vary. Good luck!

I agree with Mestisamo on this-- it's something wher eyou have to learn your own body. You have to know when that time is approaching-- each time go further into that time and back off-- sure you'll have a few times when you lose it-- but hell next time you try and go further

PS- ya gotta use the PC muscle or Kegel exercise to control it also-- they work together-- also make you SHOOT

I was going to start a new thread about this, but I think it would be best if I just added it to this thread. Anyway, there a few drugs in the works for this issue and phase 3 trials seem like they are quite successful with minimal side effects. There is a good article on webmd.com:

In summary, Dapoxetine, is a type of SSRI inhibitor that doesn't stay in the body to have anti-depressant effects, but it does have the effect of reducing PE. In the study, it increased the time to ejaculate from 55sec (on average) to 2.78-3.3min.

There was another study using Levitra and it also had a significant effect on reducing PE (no numbers were given though).

Here is another good article:

It's true alot of the SSRIs will help with premature ejaculation, but they can decrease the intensity of the orgasm as well. Your best bet is to work on edging and strengthening the PC muscle with Kegel excerises
