Rick Owens' Penis Collection

Wow. Such hideous designs...these are not fashion forward...just some cloth with penis holes basically.

Also the male models...those are not models its basically "these are the only ones that came to casting and is willing to show their penis"

everything about those pictures is ugly - the models, their bodies, the clothes - all of it. Totally agree with the above comments. They look anorexic for sure.

To each his own I guess!!

Fashion models are not always chosen because they are considered to be conventionally attractive or 'hot', but because they have a quirky, off-beat look that helps to emphasise the statement the designer is making.

That is true, I did think about the whole "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" but as well... I believe in the phrase, as Heidi Klum says it on Project Runway "One day you're in, the next day you're out"

Who is going to buy these...to wear...down the street? I would say this is a fail.

PS. Yes I might be spoiled with the more "attractive" models in this world but its subjective to your own personal taste as to what you personally find "attractive"

Indeed. A lot of people criticised Kate Moss when she first appeared for being 'too short and skinny', having 'wonky' teeth, and just 'not really being model material at all'. I guess she's definitely had the last laugh there.

Also, not everything a designer does is intended to be worn in the street. It's often about creating a mood, and, again, a statement, and building some buzz around the label. He's certainly succeeded in the latter since its been reported and discussed across the media.

I agree. These are just some of there misconceptions. There is a difference between high fashion models and commercial models. Fashion/ramp models do not model their physical self but the clothes that they wear. And you are correct that's the reason why the ones chosen are the unconventional, quirky off beat looks because it satisfies the designers statement.

As for me these guys are not really hot, but they are very high fashion models. And I think they are beautiful!!!

Not all attention is good attention.

IE. John Galliano's "media attention" to his Jewish/racist remarks, he got fired from the largest fashion house in the world.

Yep, I know that not all publicity is good publicity. But we were talking about the way in which a brand builds values and creates hype, which takes months of thought, planning and preparation. So that in no way compares with a designer's off-duty spontaneous and drunken anti-semetic outburst; they're two completely different things.

This is completely a disaster for fashion week. Whoever had to sit front row and see those diseased looking dicks I'm sorry for you. Atleast the models could have been some what attractive with a decent cock! Duh... #EpicFail and this can not be considered art or fashion...just trash!

saw mention of it and some pics in a news item the other day. Not impressed by the models, their wares and even less impressed by the hideous outfits.

If a person has to sink to such a level in order to garner interest in their fashion items then they're clearly in the wrong business.

I read on twitter yesterday that this guy died a couple of years ago... if so I'm sorry, plus I might be the only person who thought he was hot. If it's a joke from some idiot, I'm pathetic to joke with something like that. Can someone confirm?
