Sean Cody Deleted Videos

I heard in the Jake Burton thread that Sean Cody has been taking down many of their videos for several of their models. I thought this might be a good place to at least list the names of the videos that have been taken down so we have an idea of what we can't get anymore.

Michael (asian bodybuilder) - He did scenes with Randy and Jack. All of his videos are removed.
Calvin - All of his videos are removed, with the exception of a 2020 popup video he appears in.

A list would be impossible. They deleted hundreds and hundreds of videos, pretty much everything pre-2015.

Here's a minuscule portion of what they deleted, based solely on the models from my favorites who have vanished entirely from their catalog that I posted in the SC thread a few days back:

They have NOT simply removed everything before 2015 though, because there are some models whose videos dating as far back as 2012 are still there.

I noticed they were deleting things about 2 years ago or so. Completely turned me off because the older stuff was better imo. Less "Hollywood" and more believable.

Calvin was my absolute, hands-down favorite, and when they deleted his stuff I knew that was it for me.

Why TF would they do that??? As the above poster showed, they didn't even delete all videos for some people, but selective ones. Silly.

The videos I listed were all deleted overnight, about two weeks ago, in a giant pre-2015 purge. I looked at my "Favorites" only a day or two earlier and they were all there, and even checked out some of the videos. Then, the next day, their photos and all their videos were suddenly gone, with only their names remaining.

The only other major deletions I know of are when the real "Sean Cody" sold the studio in 2015. He used to appear in a lot of the videos, onscreen - blowing the models or offering a helping hand. They went into the old videos and if he appeared only momentarily, they deleted that portion, so those videos suddenly got a minute or two shorter. If Sean appeared too much in the video, they just deleted it entirely.

Nope, this was only days after the whole Mindgeek/Visa/Mastercard nuclear war started. It's related to that somehow. Mindgeek owns SC.

There's no way hundreds of models all requested their videos to come down all at once, or that a studio would agree to that. This is something much bigger.

SC is saying the videos will return. We shall see.

This video was deleted a very very long time ago. Base on what I have found online, SC use to label their videos in number sequence (i.e. SC001 SC002, SC003, etc.). The video below was SC069. There was another part to it. It was SC068 or SC070. I think around 2005 SC removed the videos from their site.

Basically the video below was during Mardi Gras in 2002. As you can see the guys seem random people. Not sure if it was staged and the flashers are actors or real random civilians. If it was random people, I can see SC removing it due to not having permission from the people to post and monetize the video (I'm just assuming here).

It must have something to do with popularity. It doesn’t make sense to delete so many videos. They probably set a limit to the views per video to evaluate your f they were popular and then deleted what stood out.

I bet it’s to slowly shut down the site altogether. The glory days of SC (that honestly helped me come to terms with my sexuality) are long gone!!!

There are different kinds of deletions that have happened at SC:

- long ago, a couple of the earliest videos, like the Mardi Gras video, and a video of SC himself having sex with a model, were deleted

- a small handful of very early models, who only filmed solos, were deleted entirely from the site a number of years ago. this was maybe 3 or 4 models, with one or two videos each, nothing like the number of models deleted from CF over the years for various reasons.

- when SC sold the site, all videos showing him in them were either re-edited to remove him (where that was possible) or removed completely, where he appeared throughout. this was clearly a condition of the sale.

Other than those isolated instances, pretty much every video SC had ever released was still available up until last week.

Basically every video pre-2015 vanished overnight a week ago, along with the index pages for those videos, and all model pages for pre-2015 models.

If you're a member and have "favorited" certain models and scenes, your "favorites" page still exists, and the names of those models and titles of those scenes are still there, but the thumbnail photos for them are gone, and the links lead to 404 error pages.

This is clearly related to the Mindgeek/Visa/Mastercard legal issues.

It's been suggested in another thread that SC took down all pre-Mindgeek scenes in order to review the contracts for them and make sure they meet modern standards and weren't just grandfathered in. That seems the most plausible answer.

Whether they actually ever do that remains to be seen, it would be MUCH cheaper and easier for them just to drop those old videos entirely.

Nope, the recent videos have been consistently the most popular. And 99.999% of pre-2015 videos are gone, even ones nobody watches.

I was always bummed the two brothers Dylan and Henry disappeared just as they were getting good. Dylan (brunette) stuck around longer and bottomed a few times. Henry bowed out after a few circle jerk vids.

Probably make a list of the missing videos? I stopped collecting them regularly around 2013 and then started and stopped irregularly since then (almost completely skipped the past few years because they changed from the original concept of 99% straights), but I have a fairly large collection, especially of the older ones. But I did pick and choose mostly the muscle/jock/straight/g4p ones and a lot of tiem were solos only so if you're a top who like the twink bottom types, they're likely not with me. Lol. Except if they were paired with a top I really liked.

I can also share with you a link (VIA PM) to a vast and almost complete archive of maybe the past decade of them (and more!). That would be A LOT better for those seeking 2010 onwards because you can just type the exact name on the search tab and voila!! It's already uploaded and ready to go.

Yeah would love to have that link. Do you remember the model..it was his first time at the ocean, just a solo video. Was it a Nathaniel?

Glad I have an external hard drive loaded with most of the old videos. I even have some of the ones with the real Sean Cody blowing the models.
