Hello fellas, very random question but thoughts on shorts with liners? Have been working out lately and sometimes wear those shorts outside the gym for errands or just lounging around but sometimes the liner bother me. I’ve cuts the liners on a few pairs and kinda regret doing it since it did have a extra pockets and the ability to free ball but sometimes the liners don’t have support for the boys. At times it even feels like I’m crushing my sac even while working out which is uncomfortable. I don’t want to throw them away or donate them because they’re favorites of mine and were fairly expensive and that would be my last option. What I wanted to know though is if y’all have had this same issue and what you did to resolve it. Was even thinking of getting supportive underwear and layering it but sounds extra to me. Would appreciate the feedback!

I think it’s hot to buy undies, jocks, and swim shorts at thrift stor
Most lined shorts and trunks I see at thrift stores have had their liners removed. You could wear a comfortable jock under, which can look hot when swim shorts are wet and become see-thru. Still, no pockets though.

I always cut out the liners from my shorts, even the beach ones. I just hate the feel of those things rubbing against my dick. And for sports, I usually buy shorts without liners. If I'm going to be in a situation where going commando might be too much, I prefer to just wear briefs under the shorts.

I think you might be one of the few who actually enjoy them. I think you might have the special dick lol. Hot pics btw
Probably loads out there who like them and you just dont know. My dick is special? Loll

You have a point I just don’t know a handful of people who might shorts with liner such as yourself. What I meant about special dick was that you and your guy enjoy the freeballing ability as I’m assuming
The liner doesn’t make me feel like I’m freeballing. I only wear briefs underwear and the shorts briefs liner functions and feels the same to me.

Always cut the liners out - can then wear a jock under ‘em at the gym or around town (or freeball at home). With swim trunks I cut out the liners and wear a Speedo or swimmer thong underneath.

Just got some sweet short mesh shorts, cut out the liner and wore a jock under them at the gym today. They’re black mesh so a white jock shows through them a bit nicely.

That makes the most sense. Funny as I wear briefs too and don’t find the liners as comfortable maybe has to do with the synthetic material call me picky at that point lol.
The liner definitely feels different then my cotton briefs

Remove the liners, wear a jock and if you want to freeball - drop the jock. The first thing I do is take out the badly designed bollock sack - designed to do nothing but cut in at the wrong time and give "flip flop" in the way of support.

So why they do make shorts with liners or swimmers with liners in the first place ?

Because enough people will buy them.

I remove them all, my husband doesn’t.
i always freeball, he never does.

So rather than cut out the entire liner, I cut a slit in mine so that I have the option of slipping my junk inside the slit, or wearing them normally. I definitely prefer sliding my stuff inside of the slit though. The advantage of the slit vs removing the liner is that I can wear my mesh shorts regardless of who is around.

You're not alone. I hate liners. Especially for the gym...I prefer to re-wear my gym shorts for a few days but if they have the liner, they're way too sweaty and nasty to re-wear. I'll wear a pair of underarmour or similar compression shorts that I can arrange myself for support and comfort, and then chuck em in the laundry after.

With the shorts that come with a liner...I'll cut it out, unless it's loose and comfy. Then I might keep it as a lounging short.
