I went to a few onsens while I was in Japan and I didn't expect anything to happen as I know how normal it is to be naked in these spaces, and it's a place to relax and very casual amongst Japanese people; so I just went with a mindset of relaxing and enjoying the different onsen baths and saunas.

I love Japanese onsen. You can be naked with many different guys and everyone is cool with that. One thing that I did before was after staying in the water for a while I would sit at the side of the pool, put a towel on my lap so it didn’t look like I was showing off on purpose. But for other guys who were in the pool their eye level was just at my crotch. People definitely peeked because it’s right in front of them, and it’s fun to catch some of them while they were looking.
