Hi, I used to pump with a 2" x 9" tube I got from the local porn shop infrequently. Though after breaking the pump for the tube, I decided I'd try and build my own pump without forking out the cash for another cheap pump or ordering online. So I followed the instructions on this website, https://www.pumptoys.com/lib/makestj.htm. I've been pumping with it for the last 2 weeks without a seal. I've been pumping for 1 hour at a time, but I take breaks almost at 30 min because the pump is pulling in the flesh from above the base of my penis and it hurts around that time. Should I just pump for 30 minutes every night? Should I try to make a seal for it? If so what works as a makeshift seal? Or should I just shell out the cash and order the seal from the website? Or should I just go back and get a smaller tube and pump till I can fill the sun tea jar better? Any info would be really helpful, thanks!

The innertube of a bicycle tire will do the seal. Make sure to cut a 5 inch length of it and then just stretch it over the opening of your tea jar.Be really carefull with glass pumps because if it ever implodes and shatters, then your in trouble.

1. Pump as often as time allows. If you have 30 minutes a night then do it.
2. If you are crafty wouldn't hurt.
3. Not sure never bothered.
4. I would suggest a seal. I got the STJ kit with seal from that website. I originally opted for the non silicone seal because it was cheaper but would suggest the silicone seal as i have two of those now.
5. I guess it depends what results you are looking for. I pump for bigger balls and not intending to increase dick size. I found that the STJ kit was a great starter kit for me. I figured if I was still pumping with it after a year I would spring for the more expensive Bull Master which I did.
I know its been a few months. Thanks for the input. Finally found a good seal without having to order one online. I forget the source, but I was reading on another thread (on another site) about using a tank to bowl gasket. To maintain air pressure I glued the gasket to the jar with silicone.
